Marco Settinieri BSc
I’m Marco Settineri, a final-year osteopathy student, BSc Sport & Exercise Science graduate, and sports massage therapist with over 10 years of experience in exercise prescription.
I currently work as the Exercise Prescription Specialist at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine.
After completing my degree in Sport & Exercise Science, I specialised in exercise referral, working internationally and collaborating with physiotherapists and osteopaths. This experience eventually led me to open my own gym, placing training and lifestyle at the heart of my approach.
My path into osteopathy was shaped by my own sports injuries during the end of my first degree, including a spinal fracture. During my recovery, I met many professionals, but osteopaths always stood out. Their deep understanding of the body’s systems and holistic approach resonated with me. I realised how osteopathy completed the work I was already doing, creating a powerful blend of movement, manual therapy, and lifestyle change.
I believe patients should become independent in managing their pain, and my role is to guide, educate, and empower them along the way. My practice is about restoring balance, building resilience, and helping people reach their full potential.
