Luca Galvao Bueno M.Ost BSc
Luca’s expertise in osteopathic practice spans from sports science and rehabilitation to Functional Medicine interventions.
Luca’s career started in sports rehab and performance training after obtaining a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science with first class honors. Later on in his clinical years after conquering his Masters in Osteopathy with Distinction, Luca shifted his view of the human body to a more intricate understanding as a complicated ‘system of systems’ in health, disease, but most importantly focusing on subclinical signs of early dysfunction.
With his Functional Medicine lens he helps his patients in spotting early and recurrent signs of dysfunction before they develop into full blown medical conditions. These may include digestive issues, inability to lose/gain weight, back, neck, and joint pains.
His background and passion for Osteopathy, Functional Medicine, and the world of sports and exercise, makes him a unique practitioner that will be able to help you with the most cutting edge knowledge conjugating ancient wisdom and modern science.
Evidence of his unwavering dedication to his profession lies in his role as a lecturer at the prestigious British College of Osteopathic Medicine where he teaches visceral osteopathy and clinical integration.
